HIST 4280 Int'ual & Cult His of Eur 1550

Prerequisite: HIST 1131 or 1132 and 3001. A survey of the major trends in philosophy, literature, social and political thought, and the arts in Europe from antiquity through the Reformation era. Attention will be paid to the cross-cultural influences on European thought.
