Psychology Minor

NOTE: Current and incoming students may no longer declare a minor in Psychology.  Students who had already declared the minor and started taking classes toward the minor before Summer 2021 may complete the minor as part of their academic program.

Minor Requirements

Required Courses

Satisfactorily complete the following courses:
PSYC 2700Stats Applied to Behavior Sci

PSYC 2800Research Methods in Psychology

3

Nine (9) hours of PSYC courses at the 3000-4000 level

Total Credit Hours:15
Independent Studies and Internships may not be used to create a minor.
Three (3) of the nine hours must come from the Psychology Content Area (3000 level courses except PSYC 3999).

 

Additional Minor Requirements

  • Satisfactorily complete all minor requirements listed in the academic policies section of this catalog.
  • Earn a grade of C or higher in all minor courses.
  • Courses in the minor may not be used to satisfy other major or minor requirements.
