BIOL 2180 Allied Health Microbiology

(3-2-4) Prerequisite: C or higher in BIOL 1100 and BIOL 1100L, or BIOL 1107 and BIOL 1107L, or CHEM 1151 and 1151L or CHEM 1151K.  Designed to give a general knowledge of microorganisms and their relation to human welfare with respect to both pathology and transmission of disease. Additional laboratory fee required; see semester course schedule for amount. This is a HOPE and Zell Miller STEM course.
