AFST 4541 Politics of Modern Africa

An examination of the diverse political systems and regions of contemporary Africa, stressing the historical, governmental, economic and cultural factors essential to an understanding of the African continent. This course is equivalent to POLS 4541; students may not receive credit for both courses.
