Career Center

The Career Center at Georgia College is committed to preparing students for their transition to the job market or further graduate studies.  Graduate students on all campuses have access to career services.  Students who participate in the career development programs and services as well as networking opportunities with employers and graduate schools are well prepared for the world of work and graduate school.

Graduate students can make appointments to meet with a career advisor on the main campus but can also request an advising appointment be conducted email or phone.  The Career Center announces and plans visits to the Macon Graduate Center each fall and spring semester to meet with graduate students in-person.

Services for graduate and undergraduate students include:

  • Career Connection career management system at www.gcsu.edu/career, which includes off campus full-time job and part-time job listings, internship listings,  a workshop calendar, career fair information, and a resource library

  • Online interview practicing system, InterviewStream, provides graduate students a way to conduct a mock interview and receive feedback from an advisor without visiting main campus

  • Career exploration, including access to Focus2, an online career interest inventory

  • Career and graduate school fairs as well as career development workshops on main campus
