Select one track for 12 hours

Majors in Political Science are required to choose 12 hours in a specialized track or "area of emphasis".  Drawing upon 3000-4999 level courses (not taken in other areas of the major), majors are able to gain more in-depth training in an area that will equip them for their future career and/or advanced education in graduate or law school.  These specialized tracks fall into five general areas:

• Public Service and AAdministration Track (pre-MPA)

• Pre-Law Track

• International Politics Track

• American Government Track

• General Political Science Track (self-designed)

Public Service and Administration / Pre-MPA Track (12 hrs.)

Pre-Law Track (12 Hrs)

International Politics Track (12 Hrs)

American Government Track (12 Hrs)

General Political Science Track (Self-Designed; 12 semester hours)

12 hours of any POLS 3000-4000 courses.

Senior Capstone (3 Hrs)
